Author Gwyn R.C. Moses, also known as Gwyn R.C. Griffin, is a graduate of Richmond, Virginia's Public Schools. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Alumnae of Virginia Union and Virginia State Universities she has served 33 years as a Teacher and Reading Specialist. In her local community she partners with River City Poets and James River Writers. She has served as a Judge for the Veterans Creative Arts Festival, at the McGuire VA Medical Center. She has obtained a Diploma from West Redding Institute of Children's Literature. As an advocate for school choice, she believes lack of student choice weakens individual self -awareness, and giftedness. Her hope is for more children to have equitable opportunities to thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually, to capsulate purpose.
