Emphasizing the importance of enjoying good mental health in order to achieve adequate psychological, emotional and social well-being, it is necessary to emphasize that the presence of mental disorders, especially anxiety and depression, has increased considerably in recent years around the world. Within these high rates, university students are nowadays one of the populations in which greater consequences are observed in the psychological plane, derived from the increasingly high academic demands, the difficulty to find a place in the working world and the current economic situation. Following the line of research of Dr. Fernando Miralles on anxiety in exams and competitive examinations, this book aims to show what is the real situation experienced by students in terms of their mental health in the university context. In addition, to determine the level of affectation of academic burnout syndrome and anxiety in students, as well as the possible implications of the presence of these disorders in the personal life and academic performance of university students.
