Urdu monthly 'Shama' from New Delhi, which started its publication in 1939, gained national fame for film magazines. The founder of this magazine was Yousuf Dehlavi, who maintained the high literary standards of film journalism along with Urdu literature. The tradition of publishing interviews with popular film personalities in "Shama" is very old. This book presents a few selected interviews from 'Shama'.
